LC lost his first tooth today. The fairy is on her way. I hope that he isnt expecting a $100 dollars like some people have told him to expect haha.

Rumor has it the tooth fairy is building a house and is quite the tight wad.

So 24 years ago today my mother was shipped to the hospital to get a 10lbs toddler cut out of her belly. It was the birth of moi. This birthday was much better than the years past. Weird...I woke up this morning and forgot that it was my own birthday. I guess I am getting to the period in my life where birthdays aren't as important as they were when I was a kid. So the day started out with a shower a phone call from Mom at 630 this morning - then a phone call from the best friend, a text message from Dad that was followed up with another phone call, then a voicemail from Cat and a birthday kiss from the hubby when I was leaving from work. I arrived to work and discovered that my cube was covered in multi colored crate paper, balloons and confetti. It meant a lot to me that they all stayed late the night before to make my morning special. The morning proceeded with emails from Girl!, J of J&J and more phone calls. I felt special. My department took me out to lunch for chit chat and good eats. I got a call from my hunny to tell me happy birthday. Continued back to work and then there was cake and trick candles. I opened my birthday present from the hubby at work and got the matching wallet to my new purse. I was soo excited. It was exactly what I wanted. I love him! Left work and picked up LC from daycare and went to dinner with the Moms. It was a good time. Now I am home and waiting for the husband to get here so that we can hang and then go to bed and start the second day as a 24 year old. The further from 18 I get the better, but that means that I am getting closer to 30 YIKES!

this is going to be a quick one - but i thought i should put everyone up to speed with the events that have taken place in my life...

- celebrated 2 year wedding anniversay 1/21
- the search is over - we have found a home we are going to build!!! more details to follow soon!
- finally after so long i can fit in to my skinny pants!! woo almost no more kelly belly
- the year and a half long wait has come to an end - finally got to see Best Friend Adam while he was in town. we might get to work together again!!! he is moving back to Texas!

That is about it for now. I am soo excited about the changes that have been made and January isn't over yet. Looks like the beginning of a great year!!!

Here we are - week two of the new year. So far things are going ok with life. We are still slammed at work, which is good for business...although...my lack of sleep has kept me in crappy health...have a cold no cold have a cold etc...I think my nose is immune to kleenex and it doesnt peel anymore because I have rubbed all my skin off. Anyway, January 8th marked the 3 month mark for my hunny's crappy work schedule...guess what...he is still on it!!! My fingers are crossed that he is off the schedule before next Sunday, because that is our 2 year wedding anniversary and we have made plans for the whole day...there is a possibility that we may not get to follow through. Hopefully we will though. So, I made a news years resolution for myself. I would like to start regular visits to the doctor and dentist. I am always so terrified to go so I don't, but I would like to make sure that I am healthy instead of assume that I am...you know just in case. I would rather be smart than sorry. Another resolution was made for us. This year we have made a goal to buy a house. It's time to grow up and stop wasting our money renting. At the moment we are thinking of building now since the preowned homes that I have looked at are crap and I would feel more at ease knowing that I have a warranty should something happen, plus the builder that we are thinking of going with allows you to pick everything for the house so that it is completely customized to your needs. Which I think is cool, but then again it could be a complete bust. We will see...we have made an appointment so I will update on that later.

Ok, well I have drawn a blank, my Nyquil must have kicked in..ready for sleep now. I just wanted to take a few to blog out since it has been a few days and I am sure that you were on the edge of your seat wondering what the hell I was doing...NOTHING hahaha. Have a good week.
